Join the Pennington County Democrats for our monthly meeting, held on the third Thursday of each month at the Rapid City Public Library. We’ll discuss local organizing efforts, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. Everyone is welcome!
Optional: After the meeting, stick around and keep the conversation going at a nearby spot like Haycamp Brewing, Pour 54, or one of downtown Rapid City’s great local businesses.
Officer Elections + New Time & Location!
This month’s Third Thursday isn’t your typical monthly meeting. We’re electing new Pennington County Democratic Party officers — and for the first time, we’re gathering in the Community Room of the Rapid City Public Library at our new earlier start time: 5:30 PM.
Whether you’re running, voting, or just observing, this is your chance to be part of shaping the future of the local Democratic Party.

Doors open at 5:00 PM for check-in.
Meeting begins promptly at 5:30 PM.

Voting is available via paper ballot (in person) or via Zoom text ballot (if remote).

Contested races will be voted on via paper ballot, with gender balance rules applying to Chair/Vice Chair and Committee Person positions.
